Fat dissolving solutions have become more and more prevalent in the mesotherapy procedures provided in recent years. However, while there are many quality products on the market, a common issue that plagues them all is that once the fat cells are broken down, the skin in the treated area wrinkles and even sags, as it was physically stretched out by the fat deposit. In that regard, the PBSerum Enzymatic Reagents Medium is an unique solution, as like the other products in this line, it contains three key enzymes – Lipase, Lyase and Collagenase.
At the center of the solution is the Lipase, as this enzymatic reagent is responsible for the safe dissolution of triglycerides into fatty acids and glycerol, which are easy for the body to metabolize and extrude. This is a non-invasive and mild, but still highly effective approach to achieving lipolysis. Understandably, the amount of Lipase (PB500) in the PBSerum Medium is substantially higher than the Low and High entries.
However, the Lyase and Collagenase in PB Serum Medium do have their role to play. Visible swelling is not only caused by fat cells, which themselves retain water, but also by retaining fluids in the space between the skin cells. Lyase will help to get rid of these fluids from the extracellular space in the dermis and further contour the body and/or chin. Then, to deal with the potential skin sag, the collagenase will boost the fibroblasts to produce healthy new collagen fibers and the high molecular weight Hyaluronic acid will rapidly hydrate the dermis, penetrating the ECM and improve the surface skin texture.
