Treating and rejuvenating the skin of the face using the Ejal 40 skinboosters is quite a simple process. Each box of this HA product contains a single syringe (and a 30G needle) wit 2ml of rejuvenating gel. As the name would suggest it, Ejal contains 40mg of Hyaluronic acid (concentration of 20mg/ml). Such high levels are more typical for traditional fillers, however, when using in its non-crosslinked form, Hyaluronic acid is very effective at penetrating and filling the extracellular matrix space, even when highly concentrated. How does that help?
Hyaluronic acid itself does not cause fibroblast to produce collagen, nor does it directly affect their productivity rate. Instead, improving the overall hydration of the skin created the right conditions for fibroblast to produce collagen and elastin fibers at an increased rate. This is very important, as the latter directly affects skin elasticity and thus – sagginess (or lack thereof), texture etc. Collagen is even more important, as it is related to the overall health of the skin. In particular, upping its production allows for the formation of new supportive structures in the extracellular matrix, resulting in a direct lifting effect.
While it is typical for skinboosters to be applied via a multi-point approach, Ejal 40 has a completely different treatment protocol. A single box of 2ml can be spread between two area of the face. Only four points of application (each 0.25ml) are used. The effect is more visible as the local concentration of Hyaluronic acid is more rapid.
