In some regards, Long Lasting is quite similar to the other entries of the RRS HA product family. It has an overall revitalizing effect on the skin, helping with multiple issues simultaneously, but in particular aged skin problems. However, this is a proper dermal filler based on Hyaluronic acid, albeit using an advanced formula.
A box of RRS HA Long Lasting contains 21mg/ml of Hyaluronic acid or just 7mg/ml concentration. However, this HA is not only crosslinked, to improve its durability and, more importantly, volumizing capability, but it’s also suspended in amino acid buffer. The practical advantage of this formula is that the enzymes of the body will disintegrate the Hyaluronic gel of Long Lasting at much slower pace – 10-12 months on average.
While the HA gel will mechanically smooth out shallow skin depressions in the facial area, the other ingredients will improve the health and vitality of the skin in the area of application (standard seven-point protocol). The antioxidants will stop free radicals from aging the skin at an unnatural pace and lower the stress the dermis undergoes. At the same time the amino acids will stimulate the production of collagen and help the skin regain elasticity and softness. RRS HA Long Lasting also offers photoaging protection from UV light skin deterioration.
Maintaining the results requires a procedure every four months, with a single box being enough for a full facial treatment (specific areas).
